Northern Ireland Dessert – Fifteens

For dessert from Northern Ireland, at the request of the Head Chef, we had to make Fifteens. These are a no-bake staple dessert which is very quick and simple to make. We used a recipe from Elsa Eats,

Fifteens are mixture of only 5 ingredients, with an easy ratio to remember: 15 marshmallows, 15 biscuits and 15 glace cherries.

Simply combine all of the ingredients other than the coconut until thoroughly mixed.

Roll the mixture into a sausage shape over a layer of cling film topped with the desiccated coconut. Make sure the fifteens are covered in coconut and wrap the sausage shape tightly in the cling film, ready to go in the fridge overnight!

The next day the fifteens can be taken out, chopped up and enjoyed! This simple sweet treat is really only popular in Northern Ireland, so give them a go if you haven’t before.

Please send us your pictures or reviews on our social media if you gave these a go!
